Included are answers to some questions you may have about the transition from Penn Liberty Bank to WSFS Bank.

Important Information For All Customers Click on a question or date below to reveal information.

  • Will my account number change?

    Checking, savings and money market account numbers will remain the same with one exception: account numbers that overlap with current WSFS account numbers. All certificate of deposit and loan account numbers will be changing. Your account numbers and account product names are outlined in Your Customized Account Overview included with your Welcome Guide. If your account number(s) have changed, we will work closely with you to ensure a smooth transition to your newly assigned account number(s). It is important to note that your bank routing number (the nine-digit code that identifies a financial institution) will also be changing. WSFS Bank’s routing number is 031100102.

  • What is the WSFS Bank routing number?

    031100102

  • When will I get my account statements?

    Your final deposit account statement from Penn Liberty Bank will be produced on August 12, 2016 for all account activity through that date and mailed to you shortly thereafter. Your next statement will be issued by WSFS Bank. WSFS Bank also offers online statements. If you are currently receiving your statements online and would like to continue to do so, we ask that you sign up through WSFS Online Banking on or after August 15, 2016.

  • What happens if I have Direct Deposit?

    If you have Direct Deposit, it is necessary to update your account information with an effective date after August 12, 2016. You can  access Direct Deposit forms here.  To help make the transition to WSFS a smooth process, direct deposits received after August 12, 2016 with old account information (if applicable) and the old bank routing number will be honored and processed by WSFS Bank for six months after conversion.

  • What happens if I have Automatic Payments?

    If you have automatic payments or withdrawals from your account, it is necessary to update your information with an effective date after August 12, 2016. You can  access automatic payment forms here. This form does not apply to automatic transfers for loan payments. To help make the transition to WSFS a smooth process, automatic payments received after August 12, 2016 with old account information (if applicable) and the old bank routing number will be honored and processed by WSFS Bank for six months after conversion.

  • How do I receive Wire Transfers?

    Please provide the following information to the sending party so that you can continue to receive wire transfers:

    • WSFS ABA or Routing Number: 031100102
    • WSFS Bank’s Wire Transfer Name: Wilmington Savings Fund Society, FSB
    • Your name as receiving the wire transfer (name on wire must be identical to name on bank account)
    • New WSFS Account Number being credited with wire transfer (if applicable)
  • What do I need to know about using checks?

    You can continue to use your Penn Liberty Bank checks after conversion if your account number remains the same. If you have a checking account that received a new account number, you will be receiving WSFS Bank checks prior to conversion. You should stop using and destroy your Penn Liberty checks on August 12, 2016.

  • How do I access Telephone Banking?
    • Access to your Penn Liberty Bank Telephone Banking service will be available through 1:00 p.m. on August 12, 2016.
    • All access to your Penn Liberty Bank accounts will be unavailable after 1:00 p.m. on August 12, 2016.
    • You will be set up with a PIN using the last 4 digits of your social security number.
    • You will have full access to your WSFS accounts on August 15, 2016 at 8:00 a.m.
  • Information on the Deposit Account Agreement, Funds Availability Policy, Posting Order and the Privacy Policy

  • How do I convert my Quicken/Quickbooks accounts?

    Select your Quicken/Quickbooks product and download the attached instructions to deactivate your Penn Liberty Bank accounts and activate your WSFS Bank Accounts.

  • July 6, 2016

    Your deposit and loan account details will be in the mail July 6. You will receive them shortly thereafter.

  • August 5, 2016
    • You will receive your new WSFS Visa® Debit Card and/or ATM Card and PIN with activation instructions before this date. Do not destroy your Penn Liberty Bank Visa® Debit and/or ATM Card until August 12, 2016.
    • You can continue to use your Penn Liberty Bank checks after conversion unless your account number has changed. If your account number has changed, you will receive your new WSFS checks before this date. Please do not use your new WSFS checks until August 12, 2016.
  • August 8, 2016

    Penn Liberty Bank ATMs may be unavailable at times starting on August 8, 2016. You may access any WSFS banking office ATM with your Penn Liberty Bank Visa® Debit Card and/or ATM Card with no convenience fees. Your Penn Liberty Bank Visa® Debit Card and/or ATM Card can still be used at other non-Penn Liberty Bank ATMs for account access until 1:00 p.m. on August 12, 2016.

  • August 12, 2016
    • Penn Liberty Bank locations will be closing at 1:00 p.m.
    • You may continue to use your current Penn Liberty Bank Visa® Debit Card until 1:00 p.m.
    • You may begin using your new WSFS Visa® Debit or ATM Card at 1:00 p.m. to make ATM withdrawals and purchases; balance inquiries will not be available until August 15, 2016. On or before this date, please activate your WSFS Visa® Debit Card so that you may begin using it with no interruption of service. To activate, simply call 1-877-260-2527 and follow the prompts.
    • Access to your Penn Liberty Online Banking services will be available until 1:00 p.m. All internal and external transfers and bill payments dated on or before August 12, 2016 will be processed.
    • Access to your Penn Liberty Bank Telephone Banking will be available through 1:00 p.m.
    • Banking office ATMs will be available by 6:00 p.m. on August 12, 2016.
  • August 15, 2016
    • Banking office locations will be open and operating according to their new office hours. These hours are available below
    • You will have full access to WSFS Online Banking, Bill Pay and Telephone Banking at 8:00 a.m.
    • Your WSFS Visa® Debit Card and/or ATM Card can be used for balance inquiries and your everyday purchases and cash withdrawals.

Personal Account Information

  • What should I know about my accounts?

    The WSFS Bank team is committed to providing you stellar experiences and is dedicated to helping you achieve your financial goals. We have recommended accounts that we hope will best suit your needs. In addition, we are waiving the minimum balance requirements until December 1, 2016, to allow time for you to evaluate your new accounts and see if you are in the right ones for you.

  • What is going to happen with my CDs and IRAs?

    There will be no change to your interest rate or maturity date. In some instances, interest may be compounded and credited earlier than currently stated. Additionally, monthly interest payments will be paid on the anniversary date of when the account was initially opened. Your current CD or IRA will automatically renew to the term provided at the time of account opening at the then current WSFS rate with one exception – terms of 30 and 33 months will renew into a new WSFS 24 month term at the then current rates. You will have a 10 day grace period after the maturity date to withdraw or transfer any portion of your certificate without penalty.

  • What do I need to know about my new WSFS Visa® Debit and ATM Cards?

    You will be receiving your personal identification number (PIN) in the mail a few days prior to the arrival of your WSFS Visa® Debit Card and/or ATM Card. If you do not receive your PIN or card by August 8, 2016, please call the WSFS Customer Contact Center at 1-844-937-8263.

    • If you had a Penn Liberty Debit Card tied to a savings account only, you will receive a WSFS ATM card.
    • You may continue to use your current Penn Liberty Bank Visa® Debit Card until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016.
    • You may begin using your new WSFS Visa® Debit or ATM Card at 1:00 p.m. to make ATM withdrawals and purchases; balance inquiries will not be available until August 15, 2016. On or before this date, please activate your WSFS Visa® Debit Card so that you may begin using it with no interruption of service. To activate, simply call 1-877-260-2527 and follow the prompts.
    • No action is required to activate your WSFS ATM Card.
    • You may change your PIN once your card is activated by calling 1-877-260-2527. On August 15, you may also change your PIN at any WSFS banking office ATM.
    • If you currently use your Penn Liberty Bank Visa® Debit Card for recurring payments deducted from your account, please notify your payees of your new debit card number, expiration date and security code.
    • Please note that there is a $500 daily limit on withdrawing funds from the ATM. See the debit card agreement for additional terms and conditions.
  • What is happening with Overdraft Protection Services? — For Personal Accounts Only

    If you currently have Overdraft Protection transfers from your Penn Liberty Bank savings account, money market or line of credit account to your checking accounts, they will continue to remain the same.

  • What do I need to know about my online banking account?
    • Access to your Penn Liberty Bank Online Banking will be available until 1:00 p.m. on August 12, 2016. For your convenience, there will be 45 days of history available in WSFS Online Banking. Please be sure to download any online banking history and electronic statements for your records on your Penn Liberty Online Banking prior to August 12, 2016. Quicken/Quickbook users should update their software if they require more history.
    • Your user ID will not change, however you will need to enter it in lowercase. (For example: userid)
    • Your password will change. You will be set up with a temporary password using the lowercase letters “wsfs” plus the last 4 digits of your social security number. (For example: wsfs1234). You should reset this password immediately.
    • You will be prompted to verify your identity using a one-time verification process. You can choose between a phone call or a text message to a phone number that we have on file for you.
    • All internal and external transfers and bill payments scheduled for on or before August 12, 2016 will be processed.
    • WSFS will add the payees you normally pay bills to in WSFS Online Banking. Please review information for accuracy and re-establish any ebills.
    • The timing of when the funds will be taken out of your account to cover your bill payments will change effective August 12, 2016. The funds to cover bills paid via check will be taken out five business days before payment is due. The funds to cover bills paid via ACH will be taken out three business days before the payment is due.
    • You will have full access to WSFS Online Banking & Bill Pay on August 15, 2016 at 8:00 a.m.
    • Any personalization that you had setup to your account names will not be converted over. You will need to re-enter that information when you log in to WSFS Online Banking.
    • Keep a lookout in the mail for a separate communication prior to August 12, 2016 providing additional details.

Small Business & Commercial Account Information

  • I have a Commercial Loan and/or Line of Credit. Will there be a change to those?

    In most cases, the terms of your commercial loan and/or line of credit have not changed. In the unlikely event your commercial loan and/or line of credit needed to be modified, we have notified you separately. Your loan account number has changed and is outlined in Your Customized Account Overview included with your welcome package. Any automatic deductions for payments on your loan will continue without disruption.

    You will begin to receive monthly billing statements and you may continue to pay your loan at any of our branch locations. All loan payments should be made payable to WSFS Bank. Payments can be sent to WSFS Loan Processing Center, PO Box 71272, Philadelphia, PA 19176-6272.

  • What do I need to know about my new WSFS Business Visa® Debit and ATM Cards?

    You will be receiving your personal identification number (PIN) in the mail a few days prior to the arrival of your WSFS Visa® Business Debit Card and/or ATM Card. If you do not receive your PIN or card by August 5, 2016, please call the WSFS Customer Contact Center at 1-844-937-8263.

  • What do I need to know about Business Online Banking?
    • Access to your Penn Liberty Bank Online Banking will be available until 1:00 p.m. on August 12, 2016 and will be available again at 8 a.m. on August 15, 2016. For your convenience, there will be 45 days of history available in WSFS Business Online Banking. If you would like further history, please be sure to download any additional information from your Penn Liberty Bank Online Banking by August 12, 2016.     • Your Business’s System Administrator will receive a letter containing sign-on information including your Company ID. In addition, the System Administrator will need to re-establish any additional users. For assistance, call our Customer Contact Center at 1-844-937-8263.
    • Your password will change. You will be set up with a temporary password “BeB1” plus the last 4 digits of your tax identification number (case sensitive). (For example: BeB11234). You may reset this password immediately.
    • The timing of when the funds will be taken out of your account to cover your bill payments will change effective August 12, 2016. The funds to cover bills paid via check will be taken out five business days before payment is due. The funds to cover bills paid via ACH will be taken out three business days before the payment is due.
    • WSFS will add the payees you normally pay bills to in WSFS Business Online Banking. Please review information for accuracy and re-establish ebills.
    • You will have full access to WSFS Business Online Banking at 8:00 a.m. on August 15, 2016. Keep a lookout in the mail for a separate communication prior to August 12, 2016 providing additional details.
  • I have Cash Management Services. What do I need to know?

    Penn Liberty Cash Management Customers will receive a separate mailing regarding your Business Online Banking login information. Customers will be able to login on August 1, 2016, to review their online banking services, set-up users, and schedule future dated ACH, wires and recurring transfers. For assistance, call our eBanking Services support team at 302-792-6044 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.

  • How do I manage my Merchant Services relationship going forward?

    Penn Liberty Merchant Services Customers can continue processing without interruption. WSFS also partners with TransFirst so there will be no change to your current relationship.

    For Customers who use another merchant services provider, please provide the following information to your merchant services provider at least 10 business days prior to August 12, 2016 so you can receive your business credit card receipts for your new WSFS checking account:

    • WSFS ABA or Routing Number: 031100102
    • New WSFS Account Number (if applicable)

Consumer Loan Information

  • What if I have a Consumer Loan and or Mortgage?

    In most cases, the terms of your consumer loan, line and/or mortgage will not change. In the unlikely event your consumer loan, line and/or mortgage needs to be modified, we will notify you separately. Your loan account number will change and is outlined in Your Customized Account Overview included with this package. Any automatic deductions for payments on your loan will continue without disruption. Customers with Line of Credit Access Cards will receive a WSFS Visa® Home Equity Line of Credit Access Card by August 5, 2016.

  • Will my automatic payment continue after the conversion?

    Yes, your payment will be automatically deducted from your new WSFS account. If you are not set up for automatic payment you will receive a monthly bill.

  • Will I continue to receive a monthly statement?

    Yes, you will continue to receive monthly billing statements and you may continue to pay your loan at any of our banking office locations. All loan payments should be made payable to WSFS Bank. Payments can also be sent to WSFS Loan Processing Center, PO Box 71272, Philadelphia, PA 19176-6272.

    There will be a few differences in the way your statement appears. Notices and correspondence will arrive bearing the WSFS Bank name.
